Lens Cap Keeper The Nikon COOLPIX P1000 Digital Camera comes with a 125x optical zoom and a 16MP backside illuminated CMOS sensor. Its built-in NIKKOR lens provides a 35mm equivalent focal length of 24-3000mm, extendable to 6000mm with 250x Dynamic Fine digital zoom. Nikon’s Dual Detect Optical Vibration Reduction offers 5 stops of optical image stabilization for sharp telephoto shots.The camera features a 3.2″ vari-angle LCD monitor and a 2.36m-dot electronic viewfinder for easy subject viewing. It can record 4K UHD video at 30 or 25 fps, and supports an external microphone.For tripod shooting at extreme focal lengths or remote operation, the optional ML-L7 remote allows wireless control of the camera’s settings.
The 16MP BSI CMOS Sensor generates detailed images within ISO 100-6400, and records 4K UHD movies at 30 or 25 fps. The camera has a 125x optical zoom (24-3000mm equivalent), augmented by Dynamic Fine digital zoom extending up to 6000mm. It also features Dual Detect Optical Vibration Reduction for 5 stops of image stabilization.
The P1000 boasts a 3.2″ vari-angle LCD display and a 2.36 million-dot OLED viewfinder for easy viewing and traditional shooting styles. It has a control ring for adjusting focus, exposure, white balance, and ISO from the lens barrel. It also features a zoom toggle and Snapback button, quickly zooming out if a subject is lost at long focal lengths, then returning to the previous position when released.
Nikon’s SnapBridge technology, you can easily connect your Nikon camera to a compatible smartphone or tablet device using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Once paired, this technology enables a seamless transfer of photos from your camera directly to your device, eliminating the need for manual uploads or physical connections.
The P1000 comes with an array of shooting modes tailored for various scenarios such as sunsets, fireworks, and portraits. It includes the favored Moon Mode, designed for capturing detailed images of our closest celestial neighbor, and introduces the new Bird Mode, specifically optimized for photographing vibrant and often brightly-colored birds.
